My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you would like more information about Valentina or are interested in adopting her, please send an telmamoreira@hotmail.com

Valentina appeared one day begging for food at a neighbor’s house. She started to visit this kind lady every morning and evening for her meals. One day I decided to pick her up to have her vaccinated, spayed and released back at my neighbor’s house. But then we noticed that she looked either pregnant or nursing. So I brought her home until we found out. Her two 3-week-old babies were found three days later; they joined their mom at home and are also looking for a loving home.

Valentina is such a sweet and patient girl! My 11-years old son hugs her and holds her all day long. Even if she does not particularly like to be picked up, she is incapable of hurting.

Now that she has weaned her girls and encouraging them to be mom-independent, the kitten she still is shows up. She is very playful and does not get tired of chasing little balls.

And of course, Valentina knows where the litter box is and where it is appropriate to scratch –the cat scratcher.

Valentina is very close to her daughter, Lily. If you are looking to adopt two, they would love to be adopted together.

We all love her and would keep her if it weren’t that our home has three other four-legged family members. We are still surprised how house and human trained Valentina has been from the beginning, having been a stray cat. She will warm the heart of the human who chooses her as a forever friend.
