My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jaycee is a 2 year old, 34lb yellow lab mix looking for her forever home. Jaycee is as sweet as can be but is PAINFULLY shy around new people. More than most any dog we have come across. She will need a very special home that can be patient and loving while she gets used to you in her own time. It won't be overnight. It won't even be within the week. It may take her a month to warm up to you, but it will happen.

She is extremely shy and benefits from wearing a thunder vest, but she will come around and be comfortable with you in time, we promise. She just takes a little longer to trust new people so only experienced dog owners willing to make a committment should apply. However, it will be worth it because once she knows you, she will love you forever and become your best friend.

She absolutely loves playing tag with her 4 foster siblings. She gets along well with all other dogs. At night, she enjoys snuggling with her foster mom and watching TV. She walks well on a harness leash and is crate and house trained. Her favorite treat is animal crackers and ice cream.
