CDHA does not adopt to anyone under the age of 21 or to families with children under 5 years old.

Reminder: CDHA's adoption area is limited to an hour's drive from Albany, NY.

RYDER: Golden Retriever / Poodle, neutered male, approx., two and a half years old.

notes: Ryder gets along well with other dogs and with his own family but is aggressive with strangers coming into or approaching his home. He therefore needs to go to a home where there are not a lot of people coming and going and who are committed to training him. Ryder needs to go to a home where there is a large, fenced yard. NO INVISIBLE FENCES for him. We would like to place him with someone who has had or has owned a Standard Poodle or Poodle Mix. NO FIRST-TIME PET OWNERS, PLEASE. Ryder will be shown by appointment only. In addition to the regular application process, an applicant will need a reference from their groomer proving the established relationship.
