My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Callie is a 'pocket boxer' meaning she's tiny in stature and height
She currently weighs about 42 pounds and needs to put on another 5-10 pounds
She is a very sweet, intelligent girl that follows you from room to room
Callie is both crate trained and house broken (she doesn't need to be crated
She loves to stay close to you and sleep in your bed
She is curious about cats but hasn't shown a any 'prey' instincts. She just watches the cat
Callie’s favorite spot is on the couch between her humans
She enjoys plain Greek yogurt and cheese
She will sit, come & wait upon command
Callie loves to go for rides & walks
She loves to be in the kitchen while you cook
She does NOT beg for food and is very gentle when you give her treats
She only wants to be outside if you are outside- she will race you back to the house and win every time
She will nip (not hard) at your heels when you leave for work. It's her way of letting you know she doesn't want you to go
Callie plays rough and growls when playing and needs redirection at times to calm her down
Her one bad habit is jumping on people. She gets super excited to see anyone and responds by jumping up and hugging you. She needs continued work on this.
She is also low heartworm positive and being treated with the 'slow kill' method paid for by SouthPaw Boxer Rescue.
