My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome boys name is Gus and he is a pretty cool dude! Gus is only 4 years and is a pretty stubborn boy (typical EB) and needs an owner that is EB saavy!

Here is what his current foster mama says:

“He doesn’t like cats. He is good with dogs smaller who are very submissive or less threatening than he is. He is quite high energy and very intelligent according to our dog trainer. And he’s a power chewer. He loves all people. He is actually pretty good with kids (based on limited exposure.)

He is a great boy. He really just needs an experienced dog owner because he will test limits.

In regards to health issues he has typical EB allergies. He takes apoquel daily and I have a lot left in this bottle. He takes it in the am, and I just dump it in his food bowl and he eats it no problem.

Breathing is good nose snares are open pretty good for a bulldog. Slight enteopian but my vet says it’s really mild.

He walks ok on a leash, slight pulling I can reign him in, he only likes to go for short walks.

He loves the heat, but can’t tolerate it due to the fact he’s a bulldog. I often have to get him in and make him cool off.

He’s great at night in his crate, wonderful sleeper. Gus would be better suited in a one pet home with him being the only pet”
