My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Mustang! Like the Shelby Mustang, vroom vroom!

I was rescued by a good samaritan, brought to good health, and then taken into the rescue.

So a little bit about me, I'm an omnivore and while I love the outdoors, I need to live inside. California is not my native habitat so my environment needs to be managed and maintained. Having a safe indoor enclosure is a must but also having access to fresh air, lots of exploring space, and a place to workout is great too!

Not only am I a Box Turtler but I am a Three-Toed Box Turtle, which is becoming harder to find for some reason. All that means is I am a very unique little guy ;)
