My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DREAM Dachshund Rescue has been hard at work! Lots of pups coming soon, including this one who we can't reveal yet. This dog is in the financial and physical care of DREAM, but due to an active court case, is not able to be adopted at this time. We cannot accept applications, answer queries, or give any further information. Please do not apply for this dog, as we will not keep the application on file, and it will be discarded. We mean no offense to anyone, and are simply following the letter of the law.

It takes a very big village to care for this many dogs...a village filled with more food, supplies & medical care than you can imagine. If you wish to donate to the care of any of these dogs, you may do so via this link to PayPal. We are a 501c3 organization and your donation is tax-deductible.

Please keep checking back or go to www.dreamrescue.org/adopt-a-dog/ for updates. Meanwhile, to learn more about the breed, go to www.dreamrescue.org/know-your-dachsie/

Thank you for your patience while we are busy at work with all the many wonderful dogs in our care.

All adoption fees go directly to veterinary care for DREAM dachshunds. Dogs will go to their new homes microchipped, altered, heartworm tested, and up to date on vaccinations. Most dogs' veterinary expenses are greater than our adoption fees.

DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group. We focus on the metro Atlanta area and can assist throughout the state of Georgia. Because we are all volunteers, we can consider applications only within an hour of these areas. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a doxie's back.
