Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maggie is up to date on shot, spayed and micro chipped. Requirements to adopt Maggie are: no children, no other pets, will continue training. Please go to www.moemoesrescue.com, download the application, fill it out and return it.
Margaret Thatcher aka “Maggie” is a 5 year old English Bulldog (CKC). She has quite a bit of training
under her belt. She attended puppy 101 school, a 2 week board and train and has received private one
on one lessons by a pet behavioral therapist. Maggie knows the commands, sit, down, stay, come, leave
it and wait. She is great with grooming and will walk into the shower if you open the door. She tolerates
nail trimmings with some tasty treats. Maggie knows how to “heel” on walks, but has anxiety and
exhibits leash reactivity around large and noisy trucks and when she see’s other dogs. As stated above,
she received one on one behavioral training to address her leash reactivity and this would need to
continue for her and the future owners to have enjoyable walks. Maggie likes to be “Queen Bee”, and
would need to be the only dog in a home without children. Maggie loves adults and does not know a
stranger. She will gladly roll over onto her back for belly rubs and snuggles. She is a cuddler and if you let
her she would happily sleep on your lap the entire day. Maggie loves to play tug of war and has a low
grumble that sounds like a 1960’s muscle car. She loves to take naps in the sunshine, and enjoys kongs
filled with peanut butter. She is house trained, but is used to using a doggie door to do her business.
Maggie is up to date on all of her shots, does great during vet visits and according to the vet is “the
perfect weight”. Maggie does have allergies, but these are easily managed with the cytopoint allergy
shot she receives every 3-4 months. She eats 2 cups of food a day, nutro lamb and rice in a slow feed
bowl, because this girl LOVES to eat! The only time she drools is when the food is being poured into her
bowl, which is pretty impressive for a bulldog. Maggie is a very special girl with loads of love to give, and
if paired with the right home and future owner will truly be a treasure to have. She has been loved
beyond measure by her previous family, and they would like an open adoption to watch her grow old
and happy into her golden years.
