My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Finn and his big smile are ready to find a forever home! He is a 3 year old Shepherd mix and weighs about 45 pounds. He is such a cool dog and SOOO lovable. Now that he's spent more than a year in rescue, we know his perfect home will find him soon!

Finn was lucky enough to attend a 2 week board & train with Loyal Companion K9 Academy in June 2020. His foster home has continued and expanded on that training experience, so he knows the basics like sit and down, walks on a leash like a gentleman, does great with the 'place' command, and more. He's looking for an active home that will continue with his training and understand his need for a simple, consistent routine and proper exercise.

Finn's favorite things include neighborhood walks, hikes, car rides, and being told he's a good boy when he listens! Finn does best with female dogs, but thrives when he has the time to connect with, build respect for, and learn to trust his person (or people). Once he's established that relationship, he has the trust he needs to do well with female dogs. He needs a home with no cats and no children.

If you are a firm, clear, kind pack leader looking to enjoy and share your time with an adorable, sweet, playful, happy pup, then Finn could be the perfect pup for you! Finn is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is house trained and crate trained. His adoption fee is $350.
