Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Tucker and I am a young male Tan & White Splitmasked Red Nose Pit Bull. I love people and the attention I get from them, but I haven't met a lot outside my previous home, so I am learning social skills and manners. I may always be a bit shy and reserved, but my rescue is trying to open me up and make me more social. I love kids, was raised around them in my original home and often slept in the beds with them. I was surrendered to the rescue so I could get the skills I needed, and my senior housemate started picking fights with me. I seem to get along with most dogs, but the rescue is still building a profile on me, so that will be fully determined in time. I have really good leash manners and one of the few dogs here that didn't have to start on a halti, and work my way to collar only. I have poor meeting skills with new dogs, and therefore on an attempt was introduced to a halti. I didn't like it much and went back to walking like a good boy after just a couple of minutes of having to wear the thing. I seem to be cat safe, I am curious, but not over zealous, but have not got to physically meet one fully except for a few sniffs. The few sniffs was adequate for me though and I moved on back to my place without having to be asked more then once. Introductions to new people, some I just walk right up to and am fine, and some I am very growly and shy with. Most I warm up to after a couple of meetings, but because of this, I can show poorly, even though I am a good dog. The rescue will post a better descriptions, and tags of what I am good at and not good at as I open up, and continue to learn. Thanks for looking at me, I hope to have my furever loving home soon!
