My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cardi and her babies are all glowed up and ready to make you smile! Cardi was a stray in Albany park, fed by a resident for a few years, when he saw she was pregnant he brought her in to have her babies. After a quick escape by mom, the family was all reunited in CCR's care, and they are ready to live in the life of indoor luxury.

Pecan is chatty, cuddly and fun. What else could you ask for in a best friend!? She loves massages on her head and armpits, yup, you read that right, this girl will expect armpit massages. No word on if she returns the favor.
Pecan is bonded with her brother Momo, they will be adopted out together as a pair.

At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.

Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.

CCR adopts to homes in Chicago, or to homes that are within a few miles of our foster families. We do not ship cats or kittens. No exceptions.

Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes.
