My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cardi and her babies are all glowed up and ready to make you smile! Cardi was a stray in Albany park, fed by a resident for a few years, when he saw she was pregnant he brought her in to have her babies. After a quick escape by mom, the family was all reunited in CCR's care, and they are ready to live in the life of indoor luxury.

Though she looks like a fox with her oversized kitten ears, we guarantee she is 100% pure adorable house cat! Do you love a good night on the couch with Netflix, so does Choux! While you eat your popcorn she'd love a snack of dry kibble or kitty treats. Our little cuddle bug, Choux loves to cuddle on your lap, or your chest if your sleeping. She loves to play and will even wave her paws at you as a little circus trick. Choux loves attention and having her picture taken, she is ready to find her 5 minutes of fame with you!

Pretty little calico Choux is bonded with her sister Pot Pie, and they will be adopted out together as a pair. If you would like to meet and possibly adopt Choux and Pot Pie, contact Cindy: (773)203-0215, or email: cindy@chicagocatrescue.org

At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.

Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.

CCR adopts to homes in Chicago, or to homes that are within a few miles of our foster families. We do not ship cats or kittens. No exceptions.

Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, info@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!
