Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Volunteers keep asking, "Why isn't Mary adopted???" and I have to respond, "I don't know! 😭Mary is the perfect embodiment of a Staffy - adores people, loves snuggles, and is a great singer of the "aroorooooo" classics. Every volunteer is head over heels for the short and squat little lady and her cuddles. She does well with kids of all ages and couldn't care less about cats. Mary can be a little "much" with other dogs so she ends up not being friends with certain ones, but others she has a blast with. We're estimating she's about 5 so she still has plenty of get up and go for walk time but also loves to just chill on the couch and watch some TV too. Mary is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. Interested people can fill out an application by clicking "ONLINE APPLICATION" here: https://secondchanceas.org/adoption-application
We do not ask for set adoption fees but instead ask for an adoption donation based on the costs of providing the dog with basic medical care (spay/neuter, vaccines, etc.), normally $175-$200 for a female dog. All adoption donations go 100% toward the care of our wonderful animals!
