My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penny is a 6 year old mini dachshund with piebald coloring. She is spayed and up to date on shots and went to a two week training camp for low level aggressive towards dogs where she made great progress. She is SUPER lovable with humans and is fiercely loyal. She is a cuddle buddy with a stubborn disposition. Like all dachshunds, she loves to be a guard dog - she'll help keep you safe from anything that walks by the house. She loves the outdoors and is a fantastic hiker and camper. She would benefit best from a house with consistency and someone who is great at reinforcing her training. She has a small bladder so staying in her kennel all day or not getting let out at night can be hard for her. She can also get pretty anxious so someone who can give her extra loving would be ideal.

She has been a very very loved member of our family for the past 4 years but we know she will be better with a family that can give her more time and consistency.
