Looking for a smart, fun, lovable pet? Have you considered pet rat, or maybe 2 of them!

Taco & Paco are a bonded pair of brothers looking for their forever home. They are approximately a year old and just looking for a home where they can enjoy their golden years getting loved on and spoiled. Many people think of rats as dirty but nothing could be further from the truth! These boys are actually very clean animals and spend a good amount of time putting on a super cute show grooming themselves which is incredibly adorable to witness.

Taco is the larger of the two boys and more outgoing and social while Paco is a bit more shy but still loves affection as long as you move slowly and gently. They enjoy a good nap in their hammock together or some play time outside of cage. They are currently exploring a whole new world of fruits and veggies so far cilantro and apple seem to be their favorites.

RCHS rats live in loving foster homes where they are socialized, given sufficient exercise outside of their cage, and fed a diet of oxbow rat food, and fresh vegetables daily to maintain a healthy weight. Rats do require a vet trained in exotic animal medicine and have special housing and dietary needs. We encourage you to please research rats thoroughly before adopting.
