My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Fort Worth, TX** Snickerdoodle is a young terrier cross with boundless energy. She would make a wonderful companion for the person who is always on the go. If you want a dog to do fun agility exercises, nose work, hiking, or a travel companion then she is your girl. Snickerdoodle has the typical behavioral characteristics of all terriers. If you are not familiar with a terrier then please look up their breed specific temperament. Snickerdoodle loves to chase small furry animals (squirrels and cats). It's fun to watch her intense focus, creep, and sprint. She will be the first to alert you if a small furry animal or unknown animal intruder enters the yard. Snickerdoodle is fearful of being confined in small spaces like a crate so please keep this in mind upon adoption as we want you to avoid using crates /kennels moving forward. If you are a runner, work from home the majority of the time, or want some increased entertainment in your life then this energetic terrier would be a perfect fit. Snickerdoodle is on daily anxiety medication to help her cope with being in various homes and her separation anxiety. She has made a huge improvement in her separation anxiety with training and meds, but may relapse until she settles into a new home. Snickerdoodle will need to stay on this daily medication to help her thrive the rest of her life.  She is cute (a major attraction at the park), alert, a quick study during training, and snuggly when she settles down. She loves to ride in the car, and can use a pet door. She would likely do well with a companion dog or with kids older than 6---she loves to play.
