My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yui was rescued right before she was to be put down at the shelter. When she was rescued, she seemed to be pregnant because her belly was extended. The rescuers realized that it was because she had pyometra and heartworm disease. She went through all the surgeries with anesthesia. She also got all three injections to cure the heartworm disease. She was very strong although she is small in size.

Yui loves to be CUDDLED. She is very calm and friendly to any sized human being! She does not show any aggression when she is around people. She likes to be around small sized dogs just like her. She might give a bark to bigger dogs. She is trying to be defensive around big dogs, since she knows that she is smaller and weaker than them. But she never attacks.

Yui LOVES TO EAT! She ate very well even after the tough surgeries. That was why she recovered quickly from the surgery. But food can be easily taken away from her mouth. She does not show any aggression when her food was taken away. There is no sign of separation anxiety, either.

Yui loves to use her nose when she plays. When she walks, she is very busy to search around. She does not run that much but she walks at a quick pace. She is getting house trained and goes outside well too.
