Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Emerald, a beautiful girl with an amazing rescue story. Emerald is 5 years old and was adopted as a young cat from WAAL. However, she escaped from her owner and went missing for a year. She was finally found as a stray, very thin and with a prolapsed rectum. She came back into WAAL’s care and the amazing team at Cat Hospital of Wichita performed surgery on her and kept her in the hospital. Afterward she came to her foster and has been recuperating nicely. She takes a tiny amount of Miralax daily to help her stay regular and eats canned food only. Emerald is a *LAP CAT* and adores being held and snuggled. She wouldn’t mind being an only cat, or amongst friendly cats. She doesn’t mind respectful dogs or older kids, and uses the litterbox just fine. Do you love her?! To meet Emerald, fill out an application at WAALrescue.org/adopt.
