My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zeke is urgently seeking the right home. Zeke has captured our hearts with his amazing personality- his favorite things are snuggles, swimming, and chasing toys. He is incredibly smart, and is already trained to: heel, sit, stay, place, shake, down, take it, and leave it. He is currently being fostered by the rescue, but urgently needs a forever home.

Zeke comes with special challenges, as he is very anxious and fearful around all new people. He doesn't like strangers being in his home, and gets very protective of his owners. His anxiety is currently being managed through structured walks, playtime, and being muzzle trained. We're not sure how Zeke is with other dogs, but he has not shown signs of dog aggression. Zeke will need to find a home with an adopter who is experienced with reactive dogs, and who is willing to put in the commitment a dog like him needs.
