UPDATE: Lloyd is still happily playing in foster care! His leg has improved tremendously and hardly limps anymore! He did, however, test positive for heartworms on his 6 month re-check! We are so very sad. Please help us find a sponsor for Lloyd, this precious, precious dog. He gets along great with all dogs, big or small. He is completely housetrained and love his crate! He just want to hang with you and will do anything you ask of him. Please help us help Lloyd! UPDATE: 06/28/2008 Lloyd is now at Mike and Kathy's house. He started limping, we brought him back to the shelter and Dr. Laws feels like he may have a torn ACL. We do not have the money to get him checked out, but we did medicate him and his limp is not so bad right now. He is a wonderful dog, gets along well with others dogs, (he thinks he is really small) and just likes hanging! We need someone to adopt LLoyd and give him a home! He would make a great house pet and a wonderful family member! UPDATE: 05/01/2008. Lloyd is really being loved and pampered by Carol and Margaret. Margaret is the 8 year old daughter of Carol and Ray, and she absolutely loves Lloyd to pieces. Carol says he is so very gentle and he really doesn't mind cats at all! She says he is really a great dog, but he does have one little sneaky trait - he can unlock any fence, latch etc. They had to put a lock on the gate! TEE HEE! She said he is just a gentle giant and just wants to be loved! Lloyd is a big black lab mix that is appx 2 years old. Estimated DOB 07/07/2005. He weighs 71 pounds and has the biggest feet! He is very shy and very gentle. He really needs a good home. Lloyd is heartworm NEGATIVE. He was brought to the shelter on 01/06/2008. Lloyd is very smart . Please help us find him a home. He really needs a big place to run.
