UPDATE 6/19/09Wow what a handsome young man Laredo has grown into. We so hate to see puppies grow up in shelters though - where is this young man's loving forever home! We know you're out there!

We have decided that Laredo's 'mother' must have picked him up somewhere. We just do not see any Retriever in this man. We think he is a red heeler/pointer mix. He has lost all his 'puppy' fat and grown into a dashing young dog! He keeps a clean kennel, is very friendly and always on the look out! He loves to play. He'd make a great companion and loyal friend.

Please help us find Laredo a loving forever home. He has been waiting too long!!

Laredo, his mom, and his littermates, Landon and Lucas were strays and sent to the city kennels. Laredo entered the shelter on 02/15/2009. Laredo looks nothing like Lucas and Landon. He is white with speckled colors of brown, black, and grey! He weighs appx 14 pounds and is estimated to be around 2 months old. DOB 12/21/2008. Please help us find Laredo a home!
