My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mabella has a special look. Her black tongue reflects her SharPei heritage. And her shiny, short coat complement her sleek frame. Born in July of 2017, she weighs 45 pounds. She really likes most dogs, especally her adult daughter, Midnight Miss. Of course, Mabella enjoys playing with lots of other dogs as well and likes people almost as much. Mabella is very happy to spend time with you and likes to sit close to get petted.  Mabella is friendly and walks well on a leash so going for long walks would definitely be something she would enjoy. She is house-trained and rides well in the car so she can accompany you on all your adventures. Mabella would be happy to be your loyal companion and stay by your side.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
