My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Princess is a our special little tripod girl (meaning she only has 3 legs).  She lost her leg in a past trauma-she was hit by a car.  She has pelvic trauma, which has healed, but unfortunately has left her incontinent, meaning she has no control of her bladder or bowel movements.  But this doesn't hinder her from being the most happy and friendly little girl!  She's really good about wearing a diaper, and we will send home some diapers with the adoption.  She loves people, including little kids.

An approved adoption application is required. The $200.00 adoption fee (payable by cash or check only) includes spay/neuter; microchip; dental teeth cleaning (if needed prior to adoption); vaccinations; heartworm testing; martingale collar & leash set; and a kennel muzzle. Our adoption application may be found by going to: www.headinhomerescue.org; then click on the link to the adoption application. Dogs for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Proof of completion of an obedience class is required for all dogs following adoption. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
