Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Olive is an energetic young dog. She is a mix of Husky and American Pitbull Terrier. She is a very friendly dog who wants to be everyone's friend but often doesn't know her limits. She loves to play with other dogs but her jumping and excitement while playing may frighten smaller dogs. Olive does not do well with cats.
She is a great listener when being told to sit or go into her kennel. Olive is house trained but needs some leash training. She is a very strong puller but she has made some improvement with her foster parent. She is an active dog and needs to be in an active household that can provide her lots of daily exercise, love, patience and attention. She would do best in a household with a large fenced in yard for her to run around as she pleases.
Olive is great with kids (ages 6 and above) but is not gentle. She means no harm, she is just a big ol baby. She enjoys running with kids and playing fetch with sticks she finds in the yard. Though she is very friendly to other pets, she would do best in a home where she is the only pet or with other dog siblings that are just about her size and age range. She would love to have someone to play with daily!
She loves to run, swim, hike and look for sticks while on walks or even in the yard. She does well with kongs but will destroy fuzzy toys unless they are meant to be destroyed with a surprise toy inside. She loves to chase her tail and cuddle. She gives THE BEST cuddles.
Adoption fee for Olive is $250. This fee covers her annual exam, vaccinations, and spay surgery done while in foster care.
