Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATED BIO 07/10/2020: Stitch was turned into the shelter to be euthanized. They owners said that they could no longer care for him. According to the owners, he walked in circles, ate his own feces and even took it to bed with him, and he only liked certain people. It was apparent that Stitch had not been trained or well-cared for in his 4 years with them.
Fast Forward a week later ---- Stitch is doing very well in his foster home. He loves to eat and manages quite well even though he lost 9 teeth that were badly decayed. Foster Mom says that he is a bundle of pure love. Stitch is very calm and sweet oh, and he loves to give puppy kisses! This little munchkin loves to lounge around and be petted by his human and absolutely adores being cuddled. A Love Muffin! He also enjoys going on long leash walks; house training is a work in progress but with consistency and repetition, hopefully he will soon get it. Stitch may bark if there is a knock at the door or if a stranger walks into the home, but he calms right now. It is possible that Stitch may have had previous skin allergies since he is missing hair on his ears, but he is not currently itchy and is in great shape.
Foster Mom says that Stitch has let her know that he wants to be the only dog in the home. He has shown some aggression towards other dogs, but seems indifferent towards kitty cats. He also needs at least one stay-at-home parent who is patient and willing to walk him 3 times a day to reinforce his house-training.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Stitch can only be adopted into a home with adults and teens at least 14+ years old.
- Stitch needs a stay-at-home parent as he is very people-oriented and loves his human.
