Oscar is an almost 8 month old lab/hound/doberman?/rottweiler? mix, who loves to be cuddled. We're not quite sure what he's fully mixed with, but that's what makes him extra special! He's about 35 pounds and full of energy, and is fully housebroken and loves to retreat to his kennel. Oscar is a lovebug through and through. He loves to cuddle and be very close to his humans! He loves to run, play and eat (cheese, chicken and cheez-its are his favorite!). He listens very well to commands, and has mastered sit, stay and down. He will also wait patiently for his food using the command "wait". He has been to basic obedience training, and loves to have tasks to do! He's been pretty good off the leash, and will pretty much stay near you (off leash) and listen if you have tasty treats handy! Oscar also loves to have fun at doggie daycare, and seems to do well with other dogs. Unsure how he would be with cats, as he's not been exposed.

He will curl right up next to you on the couch, or your bed, and will be by your side all day and night. Oscar does seem to have some loud noise anxiety triggers (thunderstorms, fireworks, etc.) where he becomes very skittish. He would do best in a home without small children. He does need some work walking on a leash, and can be very easily distracted by birds, toads or anything else that he'd love to chase after as his hound instincts hold strong.
