My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DO NOT CALL THE ADOPTION CENTERS. THEY ARE CLOSED

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THESE CATS EMAIL ONLY

Odie ( age 8 grey and white) and Garfield (age 11)

Our family adopted this bonded pair 5 years ago as companions for our son. Unfortunately, two of our famly members have become very allergic to them.

They are healthy and energetic. They are indoor only cats, although They both like watching out the windows and sitting on the upstairs deck. They chase bugs if they come in the house. They like greenie snacks and other catnip snacks. They are loving cats and enjoy sitting in our laps, but don’t like being picked up. They enjoy playing with feathery toys, small fuzzy mice and balls and brown and white strings. They enjoy having new toys every once in a while, and new things to explore ( boxes etc). They sleep apart and together. Odie will often hide under blankets, but Garfield will do so only if he is scared of thunder.

Odie is an 8 yr gray and white tabby. He will come up to you to get his belly and head scratched and when he wants snacks. He is a bit shy with strangers . He is quite mellow, but gets excited if he sees birds or sees bugs to chase. He will hide from strangers initially but will eventually come out and spend time hiding or out in the living areas. He likes to explore and will jump on tables and counters. He probably isn’t comfortable around small children who move around quickly and want to grab at them. If you sit down, he will jump in your lap.

Garfield is an 11 yr old orange tabby who is a social cat, and likes to be around people most of the time. He is curious about what you are doing and likes to jump up into laps, but doesn’t like to be picked up. He loves to have his chin scratched. . He loves to eat.

Since Garfield needs prescription food due to a kidney issue. They both eat the same food. They have both dry and wet food. They share a litter box

We keep them out of our bedrooms at night but they would be happy to sleep on a bed. We have a few beds for them to choose from and they will also sleep in cozy chairs.
