Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Henry! This little cutie pie is one of 3 puppies in his litter. Mom is a Chihuahua and Dad is a Terrier.
Henry is 8 weeks old now and ready for a forever home. He is a sweet, patient, cuddly little guy with a happy temperament. He will grow to small-medium size. He has been in a foster home for the past 4 weeks living with Mom, Dad, three teenage children and three dogs. Henry is healthy and up to date on puppy vaccinations (there are still a few vaccinations for him to receive in the coming months as he gets older).
Puppies like Henry need a lot of invested time, dedication and training in order to grow up to become happy and well-adjusted adults. They are not old enough to be alone for long and will be need to be monitored closely. Puppies like to chew on things and get a little naughty sometimes and require patience and commitment.
We are looking for applicants who work from home part time (not longer than 4 hours away from the home) or full time on a permanent basis or early retired.
A detached home with a large, fully fenced yard is required.
Another young canine companion (small or medium size) in the home is required.
Guardians who are active and young enough to provide for Henry for his lifetime.
Families must attend an approved puppy training classes.
No young children, Families with children 12+ will be considered.
Breed specific knowledge and previous guardianship
WA State and Oregon residents only.
If you are ready for the challenge and meet the above requirements, please complete the application via our website - www.hearts4doxiesrescue.org found under the Forms tab.
Adoption Fee: $600.00 which covers all puppy vaccinations, de-worming, microchip with a $75.00 neuter reimbursement when old enough and with confirmation of veterinary documentation.
