My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roy came to us with his brother from a backyard breeding situation. Roy is an attentive dog that loves to be with his people. Roy is good with other dogs but needs slower introduction with large males. Roy is crate trained, house trained and pretty good on a leash (after he gets over some initial excitement!). Roy is an incredibly loyal dog. He is patient with so many dogs here at the refuge, including energetic puppies!
Roy is heartworm positive and has started his treatment, including Doxycycline. Don’t let that scare you...we would be happy to discuss heartworm with you further, if that is your concern.
Roy is not a dog to be left alone in a backyard. He would do well have a fur sibling and spending time with his two legged family, as well.
Find us on Facebook @RockyRoadRefuge, and let us know if you would like to meet Roy!
