Story & background:

Chewy is a rescue from San Bernardino. She was found roaming with her brothers on a dirt road. There was a great rally for dirt bikers on that road at the time the puppies were found. Our volunteers were concerned about the saftey of the puppies especially that they can be easily hit by dirt bikers. Therefore, the volunteers hurried to capture the puppies with some treats. This motivated the puppies to come closer to our volunteers. The puppies seemed very malnourished and dehydrated. At that point, our volunteer reached out to our corporate office to describe the situation. Immediately, our corporate office booked an appointment with a trusted veterinarian to help assess the health of the puppies. He ended up prescribing them some vitamins and supplements to help compensate for the nutrients they lacked. The rescue then assigned the task of taking care of the puppies to one of our trusted fosters to help socialize them and help them gain weight through a healthy diet. The rescue has provided the puppies with all the required vaccines. They also all got Spayed/Neutered. They get along with larger and smaller breeds of dogs. We have not had them around cats. However, since they are still young puppies, we believe that they are trainable to work with cats. They also do great around people and children. They are also exceptionally smart and so cuddly.

PetEmber Animal Rescue is a California 501 (C) (3) charitable non-profit organization that does not receive any governmental funding and relies only on the donations of the public to help provide urgent care for abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs and puppies. All donations are tax-deductible. Our rescue is in continuous improvement and we strive to cope with all the technologies of the era to help provide better services to our customers and better care for our rescued dogs. When adopting a dog from PetEmber, you receive a well-rounded healthy dog that is up to date on all vaccines since all proceeds are directed to provide a supreme veterinarian care, nutrition, and training for the dogs we have. These proceeds are also used to help care for other senior, disabled, or hard to adopt dogs due to behavioral issues. The adopter receives a complete health record for his/her adopted dog on site at the time of the adoption. Necessary paperwork such as the rabies certificate, Spay/neuter certificate, vaccination record, and a copy of the adoption agreement are all handed to the adopter at the time of the adoption. These documents help the adopters in the process of licensing the dog or registering the dog as an emotional support animal (ESA). All dogs posted for adoption are 100% ready for their forever homes.

If you are interested in adopting any of our adoptable dogs, we created an online adoption application that better works with Safari or google chrome browsers.
