Charlie is a goofy boy that loves attention and playing outside. He is great at playing fetch!

Charlie was originally surrendered to us as a 5 month old puppy. Now he is almost 5.5 years old, and was returned because his adopter was moving and could not take him with him. Charlie loves everyone including children and strangers. He does well with other dogs as long as they are not small. He does not do well with cats.

Charlie is very strong at 74 lbs and has a lot of energy. He still could use some training on manners, and he does pull on his leash pretty hard. Being a shepherd mix, Charlie also has some anxiety in new situations, and especially with going to the vet. He is a very loving boy who just needs to learn some boundaries and have someone to keep him company and be active with him. He was brought back to us on anxiety meds, but we are attempting to slowly wean him off.

Charlie has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested neg. for heartworm which is included in the $155 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this dog, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays)
