Hi, I am Remy and I am a happy guy! I was rescued from a bad man when I was tiny by a nice. I came home covered in fleas, ticks, and full of teenager. My nice family took good care of me but I grew...and I grew. They only had small dogs before me, and were overwhelmed by my size and energy level. I am active boy like most dogs my age and my family wasn’t very active. They love me but I am bored and want a family who will take me on long walks or maybe a hike. I think I might like to run with my new family. If you have kids over 8, I would love to run around with them. I would really appreciate it if you could take me to a training class so I can learn how to make you happy. I am still learning commands, and I’m pretty easily distracted. I wouldn't do well with small children because I think I am small so I jump on laps, and bump against people and things and might knock them over. I am not aggressive in any way. I am just still a puppy really. I might get bigger since larger breeds grow longer. I can be a little nervous about new things, and will approach cautiously, maybe even retreating before approaching. I am good in a crate, like to give kisses, but I am not super snuggly. I know I can be your best buddy if you like to get out and do things. I really want another dog to play with but they need to be big like me or I might accidentally squish them. I am really good with other dogs and really love them. I really like to chase things....cats, squirrels, rabbits, cars, so I will need a home with a 5 ft fence or taller. I can’t live with furry friends other than dogs because of my exuberance. Won’t you consider me for your family? I’m ready to start the next phase of my life!
All dogs adopted are spayed/neutered, vaccinated including Rabies if over 14 weeks, microchipped, fecal tested, heart-worm tested if over 7 mo at arrival, flea/heartworm/tick preventative given monthly. Dogs are in foster homes in various locations but we are located in Columbia, TN. All dogs can be transported for free to adopters in the US and Canada.
