Hi! I'm Pinto, a sweet girl that loves affection and getting pets! I am a little shy at first but can warm up fairly quickly if you give me the time and go slow and gentle with me. Once I feel comfortable I can show you how loving I really am! I even will roll all around and ask for attention. I am a funny girl that has a sweet and peaceful disposition that radiates gentleness. I can get scared a little bit easier with loud sounds and quick movements. I would really prefer to be in a home with no young children(no younger than 12) and no dogs. I might be ok with an older calmer dog with a slow and proper introduction, but that would have to be discussed with my people at the shelter. There is something very important you need to know about me. I struggle with some allergies so I'm on a special prescription food. It is called hydrolyzed protein(HP for short) and it is the ONLY food I can eat. I can't have wet food or treats. Although there is a special HP treat I can have(7oz bag is about $7). A 7.7lb bag of HP food is around $60. Considering I should get fed about 1/4 cup of food in the morning and again in the evening, and it's for my health and safety, I think it is well worth it! If you are interested in adopting me, please have this food already purchased before bringing me home. My allergies can do real harm to my health and it can spiral quickly if I am given the incorrect food. I am such an amazing kitty, please give me a chance to show you that!
