Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"A Boy Name Sue" is what they said when they brought him to us! A young military couple had brought their beloved Shepherd with them when they were transferred to Ft. Irwin from Oklahoma. However, Ft. Irwin has put a ban on certain dogs and German Shepherds is one of the breeds currently banned. Needless to say, they could not keep him and brought him to us in the hopes that we would be able to find him a new family. Sue is not quite 2 yrs. old, he has been neutered and is current on his shots. He is house broken and pretty good with kids. He does get along with the other dogs but is very vocal when trying to play with them. Does tend to bully but is not vicious about it and does not do it maliciously. What Sue really needs is a place to get training and guidance as he is still young enough to learn anything someone is willing to teach him and Shepherds really thrive best when they have a job to do. Sue is willing, ready and able to be the kind of dog that anyone can be proud of. D.A.D.S. will be closing their doors soon so we really need to find a place for Sue as soon as possible.
