My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Suzy Q is ready to find a family to call her own. She came to the rescue at the end of April 2020 because her time was up at the shelter and everyone kept walking past her because she would just sit there with her head down and her skin was a mess. This amazing girl has blossomed and she just needed to be reminded that her life mattered and get the proper medical care. Suzy Q is estimated to be about a year old and she is currently 48 pounds. Here is what her foster had to say about this amazing girl :
This is Suzy Q. She came to the rescue a skinny, scared, sad girl with a bad case of mange. She has blossomed into a confident, loving, quirky energetic, beautiful girl❤️ She will be ready for her forever home soon. Her foster home has 2 dogs and a cat, and she does well with them. She is still learning her boundaries with the kitty because he doesn’t want to play as much as she does but she is learning to respect his space. She’s met children on a walk but doesn’t live with any however her foster feels she would do well with them. She does have a lot of energy and exuberance and is still learning to not jump up on people so with small children you would need to be supervising. She is approximately one year old and still very much a puppy. Her foster mom has been working with her manners and walking on a leash without pulling, but she still needs more reinforcement. She is housebroken and very, very food motivated and very smart! She loves interactive play with people, playing with her toys and likes to be near her people as much as possible. She is a wonderful snuggler and often has her head or paws on your lap. She will make a wonderful addition to a lucky family.❤️
