My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Issa is ~8 months old (birthdate 1.1.20), 38 lbs, black lab mix. I adopted her on May 4 in Mexico where she was being fostered after being found abandoned on the side of the road as a baby. I drove from Mexico to Washington with her over the course of a month and she is an excellent traveler/adventurer. She comes hiking, paddle boarding, jogging, etc. with me and loves to play fetch. She LOVES playing with other dogs.

She's affectionate, energetic, silly, and very well-socialized. We've been behavior and crate training which is going well as she's eager to please and very food-motivated, but she will need ongoing, dedicated training as she has a wild spirit and a ton of energy. She requires regular daily exercise.

I love her and I was certain I was going to be her forever home, but my small older dog (12) has not adjusted well to her big puppy energy, which causes everyone distress. Issa would do really well in a home with a playmate(s) and a big yard or farm to run around.
