My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Flip-Flop. I am a beautiful, shorthaired brown tabby cat who is approximately 1 year old. I am a really great cat. I have a laid back, mellow personality. One of my favorite things to do is just lay around with you and to hang out next to you on the bed or couch. It makes me very happy. In the evenings, I am more active and playful. I like to bat around kitty sparkle balls. I get along well with other cats. I always use a litterbox like a good girl. I am super affectionate and friendly. I like being petted and loved. I got my name Flip-Flop because when you start petting me, I literally flip and flop around, loving all the love. I will even flip and flop from side to side and I manage to fall off the bed every time. Part of my charm. Please give me a chance to join your family! Apply today! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $110. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
