Bridget Jones is a dramatic 4 year old shy girl, weighing 36 lbs, looking for a home to lounge, play and be herself. This girl is smart as a whip and aims to please. She enjoys cuddling and would love a job as couch potato. Bridget is great on leash, being a frequent customer of Lowe’s herself. And while not a performer of many fancy tricks, she does agree to sit, stay and come quite well! She’s definitely an older gal, calm in spirit but young enough to party at midnight!
Bridget’s back story is a little fuzzy and does not take to being crated well (not kennel trained). Nor does she like any type of delivery truck. She’s great with other people outside, but has an intimidating bark as she can be shy at first. On the other hand, true to her name, she’s quite dramatic when you leave - as she’d rather spend every waking moment with you. Despite her protests, she’ll settle after a few. Resting comfortably until her person comes back, as she is not destructive when left out. She enjoys playing with toys, taking long walks on the greenway and watching movies rather than running around at the dog park or chasing balls at the campsite. She is housebroken and would fair well in an apartment, condo or home.
She would do best in a home with without other animals as she requires all the attention! She does get along with other dogs; she has a high prey drive that I would rule out small animals and a dominant streak that would cause issues in a multi pet household. No small children please.
