Hi! My name is Tara and I used to live on a chain. Some nice people would come visit me and bring me food and give me attention and then one day, they took me home with them! After I was surrendered to STAR, I was able to visit the vet and get the care that I needed to get healthy. Sadly, I am heartworm positive and I will undergo treatment for that in about a month. After that, I will be available for adoption to my new forever family! I am a friendly girl that is 42lbs (with a few more to gain). I am learning about house living and I am doing great!
