Tapi is a 5 years old, neutered male dog. He currently lives in Hungary. He was my mother's rescue, she found the 4 months old Tapi at the side of the road, injured, seemingly abused. She took him in, nursed him to help. Tapi developed a strong attachment to my mother, and became her protector. My mother passed away a few months ago, at age of 94. I live in California, already have a not friendly disaster search and rescue dog. Hungary is a harsh place for dogs, especially if they are mixed. Nobody adopts dogs. He currently lives at a Hungarian dog training center. That was the only option to make sure he is safe. Tapi needs a home which allows dogs to stay indoors as well as outdoors, so he can be always close to his human family. In Hungary, dogs can not be indoors. His transport to the US will be taken care based on US regulations, once I find a loving home for him. He was very good to my elderly mom, I can not let him end up on the streets of Hungary.
