Dutchess is the biggest of 3 Presa Canario puppies currently looking for their new, permanent home. Special? Yes. Spoiled? Yes. She is 49lbs of pure love, but Dutchess will be a big, powerful girl when she reaches her adult size. Dutchess is 5 months old and has lived the first 5 months of her life outside with her siblings. For only being in foster care less than a week (surrendered 8/30), she has learned a lot. No accidents in the house; she has been introduced to walking on a leash; and she is learning to like her crate. The Presa Canario is a Mastiff breed originating from the Canary Islands. Like the Cane Corso, they require a special owner willing to put in the time to train this intelligent breed. They require a lot of socialization, especially with other animals. If you are interested in adopting Dutchess or one of her brothers, please research the breed thoroughly before applying.
