Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bunny! Bunny came to Portland, OR from Puerto Rico about a month ago. After spending her first 3 weeks with an amazing foster family, she started a foster to adopt trial.
Although the family loved her dearly, it didn't end up being the right fit. The family doesn't have any other dogs and from what we've learned, we think Bunny really needs that in a family.
Bunny and her sister were both rescued from a hoarding situation. They were healthy and well nourished, but both had severe fear of humans.
Bunny is still struggling to move past that fear, however we've found that dog siblings seem to help ease that a bit. Therefore, we will require that you have at least 1 other dog in order to adopt Bunny.
She's never shown an aggressive bone in her body, it's more of a cower and run fear. She's been around young children ever since our rescue saved her and seems to actually prefer children over adults (at least for now!).
We have high hopes for Miss Bunny and we know that with a patient and loving family, she'll continue to come out of her shell. But it's important she find someone with an immense amount of patience and understanding, because her progress will most likely take some time. The best things in life are worth the wait, right? :)
If this sounds like a challenge you might be up for, please let us know. We'd be happy to talk more.
