Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Will!
Will is a 9-year old wheaten terrier/schnauzer mix with the cutest folded ears, soft, wavy coat and about as chill as you’d expect of a dog that’s “been there and done that” – for with age comes wisdom, and contentment. Quite happy to lay all day in the yard, or the living room, he likes to be around people and have his jowls rubbed (oh, does he love that!) but does not demand constant attention. Personable and curious, but not particularly snuggly, he can be a little shy at times and prefers to be touched at the head and shoulders.
At a slim 30 pounds, and knee height at the shoulder, Will is a medium-sized dog and an easy walker that does not feel the need to run – a stately trot is enough for him. Crate and house trained, he knows a simple bark or paw at the door is all it takes to get outside when the need or want arises. His main joy in life is to simply be near his people.
Will would be an ideal companion for older children and adults who understand that older dogs are a bit more set in their ways and able to understand his desire for some personal space.
If you’re interested in Will, please fill out an online application at Folas.org. Meetings are scheduled with approved applications. Any additional questions can be sent to folasinfo@gmail.com
