Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Date of Birth: 8/10/2008
Birdie can't catch a break. She was living with a homeless man who could no longer care for her. Then she went to a home with other cats and had a hard time fitting in so our rescue took her in. She was adopted to a senior woman who adored her, but when the woman took a fall in her apartment and the family decided it was time for her to move in with them, they wanted to give Birdie back to us. But the woman would not have it, as Birdie stayed by her side the whole time she was on the floor from her fall, and she was not going to do that to Birdie after she had been so loyal to her. So, she temporarily got a reprieve. But the woman recently passed away, and two days later we got the call to come and get Birdie. She is doing fine with us but we feel so sorry for this poor sweet girl. She just wants a home where she will be loved and cared for forever. So if you're looking for a sweet, gentle, senior girl who would prefer to be the only cat in the house, then please consider sweet Birdie.
