Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maya is about 1 1/2 years (45 lbs), playful, energetic, and intelligent pup who is incredibly loyal and adoring of her family. We adopted her 8 months ago from a shelter, and she is coming along on her training and socialization, however she should be in a home without young children and with an experienced rescue-dog owner who is willing to be home often and continue her obedience and behavioral training. Maya plays well with other active dogs, and might do well in a home with another dog. She is improving at leash-walking, but is reactive to other dogs in close proximity. Maya is an anxious girl, especially around new people (and more so around children and men) and shows some aggressive behavior. She loves to play fetch in our yard (she cannot be off leash). She would probably do great at agility or nose work. We are rehoming her because we have a social house with children and don't have the capacity to spend as much time on her training as needed to give her the best life.
