My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is a sweet, three-legged boy. His front-left leg was amputated under the guidance and advice of our vet, due to a shoulder injury that had begun to heal incorrectly. He is fully recovered and getting along great! He is a bit shy at first, but once he recognizes you as "his human", he greets you happily with a million meows. He LOVES to be pet and brushed. He has no issues jumping onto/off of the bed, getting into his litter box, etc. He is not a big fan of other animals, so it would be best for him to be an only cat. Buddy has been examined by a veterinarian, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, received his age appropriate vaccines and has been neutered and microchipped.

If you are interested in finding out more about Buddy or any of our other kitties, please contact St. Francis Humane Association at (804) 598-6636 or webmaster@stfrancisha.org. Check our website, www.stfrancisha.org, for our adoption event schedule!
