Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hope is a 2 year old female who is a very sweet, affectionate, and loving little dog that is completely deaf. She has some adorable quirks about her, like chasing shadows, and is very social when in a structured pack. Her last family had two very incorrigible and unruly children that did not treat Hope with respect. She is very nervous around small children and strangers.
Hope is now very happy but would do best in a family with no dogs or small children. She needs strong leadership from the humans so if she starts to get too worked up, they can correct her out of it. When Hope is in a well-balanced pack with adult humans, she is no trouble at all and is just happy to be there.
Hope needs to be in a home with a well-fenced back yard to play, be silly and feel safe. If you would like to open you heart and home to Hope, please email adopt@valleydogs.org or fill out the online adoption form at valleydogs.org. :)
