Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey there! I'm Sam! I'm about a 7 year old hound/heeler mix. I'm way more than a pretty face. I'm more of a... Invite your neighbors in for coffee than a scare solicitors away kind of guy. My foster mom thinks I spent a lot of time outside in TN as when I came to Illinois I was not potty trained and had NO IDEA why the humans and my furry friends snuggled on a couch. I have BOTH those ideas down. I make the funniest noises and sometimes even fall off the couch when I'm getting comfy. I'm *mostly* house broken, but sometimes have an accident. I sleep quietly in my crate at night. I live with three resident dogs and another foster. I had two foster puppy friends for a few weeks. I would look at them with my huge hound dog eyes. I do that A LOT! I also have kids that I like to follow around. Nothing really bothers me. I'm definitely not alpha. My foster mom thinks an experienced dog owner would be beneficial as I will need some additional training with household manners. I mean well. I have a really good heart; I was just never really trained. I hope to meet you soon!
