My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Gunner at 8 weeks old. He has a wonderful playful sweet personality. He has a rare bone disease called Metabolic Bone Disease, and we just found out. At the moment he has a healing metatarsal with a cast- but you’d never know by his happy playful demeanor. He is my first puppy, and although our family has grown attached, it is in Gunners best interest to live in a home with a family that can give him more time and attention than we are able. He lives in a loving, smoke free home with myself, my husband and our 4 year old daughter. I want him to go to a very loving family that can invest in him the time and energy he deserves. His disease could be cured with a more vitamin dense diet, or it could require additional care as he grows, it’s too soon to really know. He needs to be in a home where he has company most of the day, and unfortunately my husband and I both work full time. If you have the love and time to invest, he will make a wonderful best friend!
