Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello everyone
My name is Lucy and I am in the range of 4 to 5 years old. My story starts back in July when I made my way to a stranger’s house and had 7 puppies. The rescue came and took me in along with all my pups. I was tired and wore out for sure. After my pups were grown enough to be adopted, I started on my make over. I moved to my new foster mom’s house. I live with other dogs, a cat, and kids. I love being a family dog and will take all the loving you will give me.
I had a few vet visits and had all my vaccinations, micro chipped and spayed. Unfortunately, I turned up heartworm positive. We did the slow kill method for months to give my post momma body a chance to recover. Then we went ahead and did the fast kill method with the injections. I made it thru the treatment and am feeling great! On top of that I tested negative which means I can travel to my new family.
I do well in the house, rare to have an accident. I do get depressed when you leave me alone, but if you crate me it is all good. I will confess, I hate walking on a leash. I would rather lay on the ground and have you rub my belly. To clarify, I know how to leash walk, just hate it. I will be shy the first time we meet, but I warm up fast.
